In the northwest section of the natural history exhibit, there are short films such as Reindeer Herding and Caribou which explain the differences between these animals. Wildlife such as the polar bear and the great horned owl are also featured within this exhibit. There is also information on the Kobuk and Noatak which are two very important Arctic rivers. Interesting places such as the Bering and Chukchi units of the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge are also located in the northwest.
