- The Fairbanks Alaska Public Lands Information Center offers scheduled films, special events, and family programs offered throughout the year.
- A variety of educational programs are offered year round on-site and off-site for community schools and youth groups.
- A lecture series entitled "Explore Alaska" is offered from autumn through spring with programs on a variety of topics such as adventuring in Alaska, public lands recreation opportunities and other Alaskan themes of special interest.
- Native and local artist demonstrations are offered once a month as part of the community's First Friday events.
- Come on in and enjoy films about the gold rush, dog mushing, “Leave No Trace”, or a variety of other topics!

Gwich'in Dancers will perform while a narrator shares about community potlatches with pictures & video elements. Enjoy a mock potlatch on stage, and learn about the cultural significance.

Upper Tanana Athabascan sprint-dog musher Jennifer Probert shares racing stories and demonstrates advanced new techniques with her lead dog, Diamond.
