Any K-12 teacher can apply for a teacher - ranger - teacher position at the Anchorage Alaska Public Lands Information Center by contacting the teacher - ranger - teacher coordinator:

Hours:
Teacher - Rangers typically work 5 eight-hour days per week for eight weeks during the summer months. The work day is generally 8:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m., with an hour lunch. Flexible scheduling can be arranged with the teacher - ranger - teacher coordinator.
