Noatak River Did You Know?
Entirely north of the Arctic Circle, the Noatak River runs 425 miles, from the glacial headwaters at 8276 ft Mount Igikpak in Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve, through the expansive Noatak National Preserve, to its mouth at the Chukchi Sea. Its name means 'passage to the interior.'
