Stay in a Public Use Cabin
There are over 200 public use cabins in Alaska for all types of adventurers to use. Whether you want to drive, hike, ski, boat, or even fly in, there is a cabin for you. Most cabins have “rustic” accommodations, providing bunks or sleeping platforms, heating stove, table, chairs, and an outhouse while the user is responsible for bringing in fuel, food, bedding, cooking utensils, and sometimes water. Many cabins are used year round and can be reserved online, by email, or with a phone call. Learn more about staying in a public use cabin!
